Feeding the hungry Owlets…

The Barred Owlets have been venturing away from the nest, testing their wings and “flying” between branches. All those calories burned, mean that mom and dad Barred Owls have to provide lots of food while these youngsters rely on them for nutrition.

A brief rest after a successful hunt, and then breakfast is served to the hungry Owlets.
